Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data WiFi Infrastructure Planner (wifi-planner.homeauto.sg, operated by HomeAuto Solutions, Singapore) collects, why, and your choices. We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
What we collect
- Floor plans you upload. Processed in server memory to produce your heatmap and recommendations. We do not store them after the request finishes.
- Usage analytics. Page views and basic events through Plausible (self-hosted, no cookies, no cross-site tracking), and, only if you accept cookies, Google Analytics.
- Advertising (planned). We may show Google AdSense ads on guide and blog pages. If we do, Google may use cookies for ads, but only if you accept them.
- Contact messages. If you WhatsApp or call us for a quote, we keep what you send to answer you.
Why we use it
To run the planner, answer your enquiries, understand how the site is used, and (if enabled) fund the site through ads. We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies and your choice
Analytics and advertising cookies are off by default. They are only switched on if you press "Accept" on the banner. "Decline" keeps them off, and the planner works the same either way. Your choice is saved in your browser (local storage) and you can change it any time:
Who else handles your data
- Google (Analytics and, if enabled, AdSense), and our hosting providers.
- Some of these process data outside Singapore. We rely on providers that protect personal data to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
How long we keep it
Floor plans: not retained. Analytics: aggregated, retained per the provider's settings.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by emailing our data protection officer below. We will respond within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days.
